Realizing the need to keep young adults who have concluded their Homenetmen scouting and athletic careers engaged with the organization and the community, starting in 2018, the organization began the initiative to open new pathways for involvement, energizing members at the local, regional, and central levels of the organization.
Homenetmen emphasizes building strong ties with peers in Armenia, reinforcing bonds with the homeland, and fostering a shared sense of purpose.
Recognizing the vast knowledge and experience of these young adults, as well as their potential as leaders and individual contributors, the organization’s goal is to harness their talents and energy, ensuring they remain tightly integrated into the Homenetmen community and continue laying the foundation for future endeavors.
Within this initiative, young adults organize their own events, activities, and projects with care and diligence, ensuring the effective execution and meaningful impact of their vision.
In addition to the Region as a whole, a growing number of local chapters have also established their own committees for young adults whose members include former scouts and athletes who are young adults but not currently serving in leadership roles.
Today, more than ever, it is essential to nurture and expand the dynamism of our young adults. By cultivating their leadership and community spirit, Homenetmen prepares them to become exemplary citizens who contribute positively to unity and progress in every community they serve.
